Caramel is a part-Accoyo granddaughter of The Last Don. Don Julio Barreda described The Last Don as one of the best machos to ever be exported from his alpha line, which was bred for fineness. His offspring are noted for maintaining lasting fineness well into maturity. Caramel herself has a beautiful coat. She is dense, dense, dense... with good architecture and a soft nice handle. We're excited to add her to our breeding program and can't wait to see what she produces.

Carmel just had her first cria for us. He is a beautiful brown pattern boy out of A Paca Fun's Cimarron. This boy has great legs and a striking look to him already. He looks like he will develop good density which wouldn't be a surprise given his parents. And his fleece is already exhibiting nice structure. Caramel is a great first time mom with tons of milk. In fact, we've never seen an alpaca with an udder like hers. She's truly the dairy cow of our herd.

We're very pleased with this combination.

However, because we are a gray breeding program and Caramel and her son are both patterns, Caramel will sell with her handsome son at her side till he is weaned. If you like patterns, take a look at this pair and check out the fiber stats on A Paca Fun's Cimarron (at 3 years of age 19.1 micron with an SD of 3.8). Cimarron's genetic line is well known for maintaining fineness as they age. And from what we've seen so far from their first cria together, this pair is a good match conformationally as well as from a fiber perspective!

If you like patterns, this pair is a STEAL and would be a great addition to your herd!
